Illinois School of Health Careers

The Illinois School of Health Careers was founded in 1990 to provide training to students to find entry-level employment in the growing field of Health Care. At ISHC, we measure our success by your success. You'll get hands-on training in medical and dental programs from instructors that are health care professionals. We offer short term programs, and you'll get on-the-job skills with externships at doctor and dentist offices.

Location: Illinois School of Health Careers is now open at a new branch campus near O'Hare Airport, located in the Triangle Plaza at 8750 W. Bryn Mawr Avenue.

Admissions: All applicants to Illinois School of Health Careers must be at least 17 years old. The School admits applicants who submit a diploma, certificate or other proof of graduation from an institution providing secondary education or the relevant equivalent of such graduation, e.g. GED certificate.

Financial aid: Financial aid is available for those that qualify.

Career Services: Illinois School of Health Careers assists graduating students with job preparation and employment search activities. ISHC will provide the student with assistance in resume preparation, job interview techniques, and job search strategies to prepare the student to secure entry-level employment.
